On Thursday, February 7th 2019, the Atlantic Cities will be in Brussels, on the occasion of the celebration of its Executive Board and will take this opportunity to present the European project ATLANTIC YOUTH CREATIVE HUBS – AYCH, financed within the framework of the European program INTERREG Atlantic Area and of which the Atlantic Cities is a part of.
During the meeting, topics such as the positioning of Atlantic Cities towards the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and the future of the European territorial cooperation will be discussed.
Concerning the Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs – AYCH project, its goal is to develop an innovative model to encourage entrepreneurship among young people from the Atlantic regions within the cultural sector and the creative industries.
Its organization in multidisciplinary workspaces (the Hubs) aims to facilitate the connection between young people (students, unemployed…) and agents which will facilitate entrepreneurship (incubators, co-working spaces and other support structures).
The event will be held in Brussels at the Maison de la Bretagne Europe, 11, Rond-point Schuman, Bruxelles from 1.30pm to 6.00pm.
